Frustrated by the lack of local knitting suppliers and the selective range of products that are available from local shops, Knit and Purl was born from the idea of Mrs. Williams– a knitting fanatic from Somerset. Now Mrs. Williams can certainly knit, but when faced with the daunting task of ordering knitting supplies online, it become immediately apparent that very few websites make it easy to order knitting materials online.

Teaming up with her Tech-Wiz grandson, Adam, Knit and Purl was born. We aim to provide a large range of knitting products that are always in stock and are easy to find. You’ll find everything you need the the correct categories (no more trawling through hundreds of pages to find the one colour yarn you’re after!), and you’ll be able to see exactly what to expect with multiple, full-size, detailed images of each product.
